Do not use the collapse of the fiu pedestrian bridge.

Hello Students:
I recommend that you read thoroughly the sample root cause analysis
in order to best support yur journey in completion of this Group of 2 assignment. Then check out the Rubric below in order to maximize your score.
DO NOT use a Safety Incident, Injury, or Fatality. This is a quality control course NOT safety. DO NOT use the COLLAPSE of the FIU pedestrian bridge. Or any other bridge for that matter. Don’t use a case study that I can easily google and find.
DO NOT use ANY COLLAPSE of any kind.
DO NOT use the following cases which can readily be found on the internet:
Boston Big Dig Ceiling COLLAPSE.
Ronan Point Apartment Building COLLAPSE.
Mexico Metro Line No. 12 COLLAPSE.

A quality issue shall deal with materials and or workmanship. Please do not use the sample root cause analysis provided herein as a template. Come up with your own. Photos, drawings, sketches, and diagrams are encouraged, not just words, in your written report.
A written report is also required.
If you found it on the Internet then so can I.

I would like to have two different copies with two different experiments:
Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) Assignment
Write a Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) for your research lab or one of your undergraduate labs (e.g., general chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical engineering unit ops, biochemistry, biomedical, etc.). Choose one experiment that you have performed in the lab. Use the assigned template and fill out all relevant info. Each section may not be entirely relevant to the selected lab/experiment but should be filled out as completely as possible. An adequate CHP does not mean that it is a specific length, but rather that it completely covers the policies, hazards, and requirements of safe laboratory operations.
Section 1;
List you as the laboratory staff/students.
Section 2;
List the lab location for whichever lab you are doing the CHP for.
Section 3;
Write all general policies for the lab for safe operation by the students (you).
Section 4;
Complete a Standard Operating Procedure for one of the assignments/experiments that was completed in the lab you have selected for the CHP.
Section 5;
Complete an orientation checklist for all relevant training that a new student would need to begin working in the lab.
Section 6;
This training should cover all training that would be required to work in the lab, not just orientation training.
Section 7;
Just include the group members’ names.
Section 8;
Include SDS for at least 4 chemicals used in the lab experiment you have selected. General SDS can be found at manufacturer/distributer websites such as https://www.fishersci.com/us/en/home.html or https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/united-states.html
Section 9;
Include a monitoring plan for any chemicals that are acutely toxic or that have chronic health hazards.
Section 10;
If you use references list them here.
Grading Outline;
Sections 1 and 2; 10%
A full score would list all relevant safety personnel and their correct contact information.
Section 3; 25%
A full score would outline all basic guidelines for safe laboratory operation. Addition policies for the specific lab/experiment selected should be given.
Section 4; 25%
A full score would give a comprehensive SOP for an experiment in the selected lab. The SOP should have no obvious mistakes and have enough information to describe safe operation of the chosen experiment.
Section 5-7; 15%
A full score would provide required safety and orientation outlines that if a new student were to join they would be adequately trained to begin safe work in the laboratory.
Section 8-9; 20%
A full score would give all relevant SDS and identify a monitoring plan for any chemicals that are acutely toxic or have chronic health hazards.
Section 10 and writing quality; 5%
A full score would have quality technical writing with few mistakes in grammar/spelling. All references should be listed in some format.
