2.Healthcare startups struggle to navigate a business world that’s set up for them to fail Links to an external site. Review Guide: 1.Review your notes about venture design, execution, and scaling. Recall important concepts of each Make note of the tools that we discussed Part two: 400 words total
Consider the common challenges we identified in the context of what we have learned about design, execution, and scaling. Respond to the following, with a brief explanation for your answers to each: 1.Which of these challenges would you attribute to each of these three categories? 2.Did any of these surprise you? Did you anticipate any in previous lessons?
3.Are there any additional challenges you expect would be common? 4.How do you predict these challenges will look different for healthcare, impact-driven ventures compared to other types? Part three: 600 words
Imagine that you are working on a venture that aims to offer high-quality telehealth services to rural, low-income communities in Wyoming, and make a discussion board post (in the thread corresponding to your scenario) applying the strategies we just learned to the problem described in your scenario. My scenario: Your venture is making progress, but you are consistently falling short of your weekly goals 1. Identify what type of challenge this scenario presents A.Marketing, teamwork, money, time management, planning, etc.? B.Describe how this challenge contributes to the scenario described 2. Identify at least two strategies that you might use to solve this problem?
A.Design strategies? Execution strategies? Scaling strategies?
B.Explain how these strategies would contribute to solving the problem in your scenario Part 4 : 300 words

Follow the link provided, and then locate the Soundcloud interview with the CEO of Wonderschool on that page. Listen to the podcast episode and look over the article accompanying it. Then write a ~200-word reflection based on what you heard and read.
You can take your reflection in various directions, but some guiding questions are:
oWhy was this venture successful? What did they do that contributed to that success?
oAnd what can we learn from Mr. Bennett about how to scale successfully specifically?
Part 5: IMPORTANT 900-1000 words
Consider the meta-ethnographic review of gender determinants of vaccination status in children whose abstract is reproduced here:
“Using meta-ethnographic methods, we conducted a systematic review of qualitative research to understand gender-related reasons at individual, family, community and health facility levels why millions of children in low-and middle-income countries are still not reached by routine vaccination programmes. […] Key words were built around the themes of immunization, vaccines, health services, health behavior, and developing countries. Only papers, which reported on in-depth qualitative data, were retained. Twenty-five qualitative studies, which investigated barriers to routine immunisation, were included in the review. These studies were conducted between 1982 and 2012; eighteen were published after 2000. The studies represent a wide range of low-to middle income countries including some that have well known coverage challenges. We found that women’s low social status manifests on every level as a barrier to accessing vaccinations: access to education, income, as well as autonomous decision-making about time and resource allocation were evident barriers. Indirectly, women’s lower status made them vulnerable to blame and shame in case of childhood illness, partly reinforcing access problems, but partly increasing women’s motivation to use every means to keep their children healthy. Yet in settings where gender discrimination exists most strongly, increasing availability and information may not be enough to reach the under immunised. Programmes must actively be designed to include mitigation measures to facilitate women’s access to immunisation services if we hope to improve immunisation coverage. Gender inequality needs to be addressed on structural, community and household levels if the number of unvaccinated children is to substantially decrease.”
Considering this review, answer the following questions:
1.If you were working in a rural community health clinic in the United States, what generalizable knowledge might you be able to take from this meta-ethnography? Why?
2.How might participatory action synthesis help mitigate any potential issues with the studies in the review?
3.List at least two areas where you would want to use PAS to make sure that researcher bias didn’t distort the findings. (Discount any logistical problems that might arise with conducting a PAS over such a large geographic scale.)

Part 6: 400 words
Consider what you have learned about the combined evaluation methods and answer the following questions on the discussion board. Write 2 to 3 paragraphs to fully and creatively address the questions. Consider the example in your required reading.
Do you think that community health improvement processes are effectively approached through a combined use of participatory action synthesis and meta-ethnography?
Is the approach best utilized by larger organizations, and would their generalizable findings be best utilized by smaller organizations?
Can the approach be reproduced on a smaller scale?

1. How does the combined usage of meta-ethnography and participatory action synthesis benefit planning and practice for community health organizations?
2. Which leadership model is best suited to lead the utilization of meta-ethnography and participatory action synthesis? Explain your reasoning.
