Nike, Inc. would like you to participate in a digital interview, powered by HireVue. What is HireVue? HireVue is an online recruiting platform that helps recruiters and hiring managers assess candidates at the pre-employment stage. Thus, the digital interview includes a series of competency-based video questions and mini-games focused on assessing competencies needed to be successful in the internship program. Before taking the assessment, you can opt-in to have your assessment evaluated by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and the University Relations team or opt-out and have your assessment evaluated only by a member of the University Relations (without using AI). How does HireVue’s AI work? The competency-based video questions and mini-games were built by HireVue’s IO Psychologists using data form Nike, Inc’s job descriptions, surveys from top performers in the jobs, their managers and focus groups. The AI will evaluate your responses by measuring them against the core competencies of the job and previously successful incumbents. Don’t wait. Take your interview within 4 days after which the link will be disabled. Once you click on the link in the email, you will have the chance to choose between allowing AI or not. The Stretch Opportunities are as follows:

Through these stretch assignments, employees will strengthen their Nike Leadership skills, including the execution of daily business targets and objectives, leading teams, and executing tactics, while expanding their network and gaining more visibility to the broader DC network.
Employees with a background or high level of interest should complete the attached Stretch Assignment application and submit it along with a copy of their resume and managerapproval via email byOctober 10th.

A: There will not be an increase in your hourly pay rate.
Q: Will I receive any feedback on my performance at the conclusion of the stretch assignment?
A: Yes. The respective Coach will have weekly 1:1’s to provide feedback.
Q: What if I am not successful during the stretch assignment?
A: In the event that you are not successful, your respective Coach will speak with you and you may be removed from the stretch assignment and returned to your normal role.
Q: If there is a Point Guard role open at the end of a successful assignment, what is the process for permanent opportunities?
A: We will continue to follow the consistent practice of job posting and interviewing. During the interview, leadership encourages the use of examples of a stretch assignment to showcase leadership potential.
Q: If I work a different shift from the stretch assignment, can I still apply?
A: Yes.
