Hello! I’m working on this project and I’m having a hard time understanding a fe

Hello! I’m working on this project and I’m having a hard time understanding a few of the questions in the first step. and i’m hoping to get an explanation.
Step 1:
i) What is the cluster number of the root directory? This is the same as the first cluster of
the data area.
so what exactly is a first cluster? where can i find it on the disk editor?
j) what is the first sector of the root directory i.e. the first sector of the data area?
Is that just the root directory number that’s in one of photos? (18488)?

This course has introduced you to the basics of modern Operating Systems. Throug

This course has introduced you to the basics of modern Operating Systems. Throughout this course, you have learned about the concepts, commands, and operations in popular Operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and MAC. You have learned skills in the following areas: accessing and installing application software, Operating systems, managing files, and folders, controlling and configuring printers and other hardware devices, controlling and configuring the user environment, security configuration, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
For your final course project, use the textbook, Internet, and other sources to research a topic within the scope of the course and approved by the instructor. Write a report, and prepare a PowerPoint presentation to share your findings. You will deliver the presentation to the class on Week 13 -14 of the course.
Examples of topics to choose:
Open Source vs non Open Source
Distros of Linux
Cloud Computing and Operating Systems
Popular Distros
Windows vs Mac
Others
Chapter 2 of the textbook section discusses the different popular Operating Systems software such as Windows and macOS and open-source Operating systems. Write an essay comparing and contrasting the differences between open source and proprietary operating systems software. Research companies such as Ret Hat, Ubuntu, and Linux explain how to they are trying to bridge the gap between the two popular OS and overcome some of the differences. See the rubric to properly format your research report.

13.9 We saw in the EV example shown in Table 13.4 that there is more actual effort spent than what the BCWP indicates on 4/5/2021 because that calculation only includes the completed tasks. Suppose we invent another term called all actual efforts spent (AAES) to include all the efforts spent as of the status date and then use it to compute a new formula: EV9 = AAES / BAC.
a. Discuss your opinion of using EV9 instead of EV.
b. Because AAES is just a redefined and expanded BCWP, do you believe the SV and CV figures will be more representative of the true project status if we use AAES in computing SV and CV? Why?
